Security Deposit

A deposit up to 25% must be paid at the time of booking to secure an appointment. If a deposit is not paid on a booking, we have the right to cancel the booking if we are unable to reach you.

Why do we take a deposit?

Due to the high demand of bookings we need to guarantee clients will turn up on the day of their appointment. 

Is the deposit used towards my visit?

Your deposit will be used towards your services on the day of your appointment - E.g. If your service total is $100 and you have paid a $25 deposit, you will only be required to pay $75 once you check out on the day.

Can I rollover my deposit for future bookings?

Sure! Each of our clients have their own record that includes their appointment history and once a deposit is paid, it is recorded on this account. So if you prefer, you can keep your deposit on your salon account to secure future bookings. Our cancelations policies still apply.

Cancellations

We request the courtesy of a 48-hour cancellation notice for all services otherwise we reserve the right to retain the full deposit fee.

What if I book within less than 48-hours ?

Your deposit will be non-refundable

Personal Items

Please also note that personal items are the responsibility of the client at all times. We do not accept responsibility for any items lost in the salon.

Arrival Time

Please arrive on time to your scheduled appointment. If you are lost or running late, please call the salon. Arriving late may result in your allocated time being reduced, or we may not be able to honour your appointment in the time remaining. It is essential that you contact us if you will be running late so that we can try to accommodate you.

Confirming appointments, cancelling or rescheduling

Your appointments are reserved for you so we ask that you give your stylist at least 48 hours notice when rescheduling or cancelling an appointment so that they can fill that appointment. We really hate no shows so please be courteous and let us know if you can't make it. As a courtesy, Zemura staff will text you 3 days prior to your appointment to confirm and remind you of the date and time. Failure to give adequate notice when cancelling or rescheduling will result in all future appointments being designated deposit only. This also applies to drastic changes to your appointment. For example, if you're booked in to get a long colour service and change your mind to get a haircut then that will be treated as a cancellation. Furthermore, we reserve the right to charge 50% cancellation fee on any appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice and future appointments will only be accepted with the payment of a deposit.

Zemura cancelling an appointment

ZEMURA reserves the right to cancel pre-booked appointments with up to 48 hours’ notice before the day of an appointment or shorter subject to exceptional circumstances, such as illness/absence or emergency etc. Your deposit will be refundable in these circumstances.

Cancelling an appointment

Cancellations can be accepted via email ONLY hello@zemura.co Please note: Our salon is closed on a Sunday and Monday, therefore cancellations for a Tuesday or Wednesday must be made via email. The 48-hour policy still applies.

Late arrival

Clients are asked if possible to arrive 10 minutes before their appointment is due. If a client fails to arrive on time for their appointment, they may not receive all scheduled services due to the pre-booked allocated time. Any client arriving more than 15 minutes late for their appointment may need to be rescheduled for another date/time and their 25% deposit will be forfeited.

Refunds

We aim to please all of our clients. Therefore, in any event that you are unsatisfied with the services provided, please inform one of our stylists us as soon as possible. Due to the nature of our business we will try to work with you and gladly resolve any problems within a reasonable time. However, we do not issue any cash refunds on our services or products.

Payment

We accept PayID, Eftpos, Mastercard, Visa. Amex will incur a 3% surcharge. We don’t accept cash.

Children

Due to our salon being an intimate space we don’t allow children in the salon other than children who have an appointment for their hair. Children who have an appointment, they have to be at least 10 years old and accompanied by an adult. At no point are parents allowed to leave their children during their appointment.
